There has been a Hare Krishna Temple located in East Hartford, Connecticut since 1978.

We first rented a house on Silver Lane, and after one and a half years (February 1980), we purchased the present building, located at 1683 Main Street.

For the first few years there were several temple presidents, and in 1981 Pyari Mohan Prabhu came and has served as the temple president ever since.
